I am very honored to introduce myself as the new principal of the Winnsboro Elementary School and to join this great district and community. I will strive to continue the dedication WISD has, caring for our students everyday and continue building lifelong learners. I look forward to an awesome spring semester of learning and growing with our students, teachers, parents, and community.
I have had the privilege of being an educator for ten years. For the past two and a half years, I have served as an Assistant Principal under the leadership of an outstanding administration at Atlanta ISD. Before my time at Atlanta ISD, I created an entrepreneurship class, taught multiple different technology classes, and coached multiple sports such as football, baseball, powerlifting, and basketball for Hughes Springs ISD.
I believe in creating an atmosphere that is conducive to learning for all children. I set high expectations for myself, faculty members, and students to ensure that every student is provided the best opportunity to learn and grow throughout their educational journey. I will be calling on our faculty, staff, and parents to work together so we can best continue to serve our children.
I am truly grateful to be given this opportunity and look forward to emerging myself completely in our school and community. I believe my responsibility is to put our teachers in the best possible position to succeed, as they will then put our children in the best possible position to succeed. I look forward to meeting you, and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you would like to share.
